Composition & Functions

The Standing Committees in Gulshan Society comprise dedicated members with diverse expertise. They collaborate to address various aspects of community development, fostering continuous improvement and enhancing the overall well-being and livability within the community.

Article 3 of the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Gulshan Society has provided for three Standing Committees, namely, Membership Committee, Finance Committee and Constitution Committee, each to be headed by a Vice President of the Society and assisted by a Joint Secretary. It also authorizes the Executive Committee to create such number of other Committees as may be necessary for smooth operation of the functions of the Society. The Gulshan Jame Masjid Committee along with eleven other Committees or sub-Committees were operational during the tenure of the immediate past Executive Committee besides the three mandatory ones.

Upon review, the newly elected EC, through merger and readjustment, has approved a total number of eleven Committees including the three mandatory Standing Committees and the Masjid Committee. The Executive Committee has also approved the composition of all the Committees along with their Terms of Reference except the Masjid Committee which is still running on its separate mandate.

The TORs are quite lengthy and may be seen by visiting the Society’s website at www.gulshansociety.com
